About
This is me learning about Moderation – In Life (Food, Exercise, Travel -no moderation, and Living Friendly).
Food – Eating good for you foods, but not giving up the plain good foods
Exercise – Working out and finding little ways to be active everyday
Travel – I’d rather the travel be frequent and not moderate
Living Friendly – Encompasses all my ideas of being green, saving money, and doing things in a thoughtful way
About Me:
I am 20 something girl living on the Seacoast of New Hampshire. In 2005, I graduated with BA in English and then proceeded to do a yearlong Master’s of Education. Currently, I’m teaching English at a school that’s about 45 minutes away. The students I teach are 9-12th grades with emotional disabilities. Some days they make me feel like I have an emotional disability, because it’s either a really good day or a horrible one. My commute is 45 minutes one way, which I hate. In my ideal job, I would be able to walk to work. However, I am so thankful to have a job, even if it’s maybe not what I want to do forever.
I have lived all over the US and really hope someday to live another country. It’s not because I hate this country; I love it here. However, there are so many places to see and so much to learn and so many good foods to eat. I love, love travel whether it’s tripping up to Montreal, flying to the beautiful coasts of Italy, or exploring the deep south.
My husband (the reason I’m living in NH in the first place) is a graduate student at the University of New Hampshire, where he is pursuing a PhD in Mathematics. He’s obviously super smart, and I love him.
Fitness is something I’m working on. I played basketball all through high school and my first year of college. Now I’m not sure I’ve found my fitness niche, but I’m looking. Cooking, baking, sewing, writing, reading, and watching movies are all things I enjoy.
