Eggs in a Basket

6 December 2009

This morning I tried to make Eggs in a Basket. I say tried because well they were ok, but I think I could use some practice. Here is what mine looked like

If you want to see my inspiration and a much better representation, check out Brandi’s blog.

While they weren’t pretty, they did taste great. I thought it would be more like French Toast, but it actually it tasted quite different.

There’s snow outside, so I’m trying to summon the initiative to head to the gym. I’m giving myself another 30 minutes of couch time.

Tonight I have snack duty  for small group. After much deliberation, I’ve decided on Pulled Pork Sandwiches, Guac and Multi-grain Chips, and Pumpkin Muffins (Which I will make correctly, not like last time when they were inedible b/c of too much baking soda). I really need to get busy.

they look great! Mine started out kinda rough, but they get better 🙂

I like mine with salt, crushed red pepper + garlic powder!

Thanks Brandi. I definitely had lots of black pepper and salt. Jeremy really liked his.
